What is glove conditioning?

We properly treat the leather to help preserve the glove. But because leather is a natural material, and absorbs oils and stains over time, you cannot expect that the leather will ever look as good as it did when it was new.

What if I am having leatherwork done and I need new laces too?

If you’re having leatherwork done on your glove, but new laces are also needed, there is an additional charge of $50.00 to replace all the glove’s laces or $15.00 per lace as needed. If we are using your own laces, it will be $25.00 and $7.50 respectively.

How long is it going to take to finish my glove?

We work on gloves as they come in. Our usual turn-around time for re-lacing is 7- 10 days. Your item deserves special attention and cannot be rushed. Larger repairs could take as much as eight weeks depending on the volume of repairs we have at the time. It’s best to fill out the Glove Doctor Patient Chart, which will help us assess the work before you send your glove. We do not give any gloves priority treatment. Many so-called glove repair services offer a rush service option for an extra price. No one’s glove will be neglected because someone can pay more to push theirs to the top of the list.
